We Are Roleplayers (W.A.R.) is committed to
bringing the best roleplaying activities to you and your friends. In the years
to come, WAR will continue to sponsor different gaming systems and offer a
variety of roleplaying activities to its members. W.A.R. is also a sponsor of
multiple Boys Scout Explorer Posts in the areas that we are active and we take
pride in giving back to the community by helping kids to stay off the streets.
W.A.R. was formed during the summer and fall of 1994. During that time Brent Kent, Mark Krupinski, and Mike Ennis realized a life-long dream and began an organization totally dedicated to providing fun and exciting activities to the people of the upper Ohio Valley. Since then we have met with unbelievable success, even when many said it could not be done. We are looking forward to yet another great gaming season, and the company of so many great friends. This organization is a testament to the creativity and perseverance of its members, and we thank all those who have and continue to participate.

Stacey lives in Struthers, Ohio with her equally wonderful husband David and their Husky, where she works for a local bank. She enjoys baking, sewing, fishing, and playing video games with her husband.
Bill Cromer
Bill Cromer began his gaming at the young age of seven. It was that year that he found a box set of D & D in the hall closet that his dad bought. The set was opened, read over and over, and then played. Having enjoyed Science Fiction/Fantasy and Mythology books, it was an easy gap for him to transcend into role-playing. Absorbing all that was put out at that time; he quickly learned how to tailor an adventure, now he just needed the players to take part. His close friends were the first victims, err I mean lucky candidates to take part in this fantasy world, but most did not have the same vivid imagination and found the game lacking because of it. He later found others with similar interests where he could escape from reality and take on a new persona for a night or two. Then Second Edition came out and his priorities focused towards college. During college he was introduced to LARP. Even though he did not take part in any LARP game it was always on his mind thinking of how fun it would to actually take on the role and play it out for a weekend. He knew he could handle the physical fighting aspect of it with all of the training he had in the martial arts. Alas it wasn’t meant to be. His oldest daughter was born and he turned towards the family life and a career in management. He continued to ascend the ladder and moved from his hometown of Toronto, Ohio to Nashville, Tennessee, and on to New Orleans, Louisiana, then just outside of the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul in Minnesota, finally returning to his home state and settling in Columbus. There he was reintroduced to LARP and more specifically NERO by his long-time friend Jay Rhoades. Going to his first game knowing only Jay, he was surprised as to how welcoming these total strangers were to him. He enjoyed the game and wanted to give more back. After NPCing for a while, he had the privilege of become a staff member of the Lumberton team and quickly moving up to plot, and eventually head of plot for that team, then moving on to the head of the Ashton team. Currently he is no longer on a set plot team, but still is part of the Campaign team and runs some of the Campaign events. His primary role as a director is character records, logistics, Campaign Plot, and Rules Committee. He still resides in Columbus with his wife and four children, and works for Cheryl’s Cookies and teaches karate at his dojo, The Cromer School of Wae Kune Do as well as helping out with the Parrish Academy of Martial Arts. His wife and children are WAR players as well or will be when they are old enough.
